Macalister

Macalister is a town and locality in the Western Downs Region, Queensland.

The town is named after Arthur Macalister, Premier of Queensland from 1866 to 1867, and the town is in centre of the locality.

In the 2021 census, the locality of Macalister had a population of 156 people.
