The Warrego Highway connects coastal Queensland centres to the south western areas of the state, and is approximately 715 km in length.
It takes its name from the Warrego River, which is the endpoint of the highway.
The Warrego Highway enters the Western Downs Region east of Dalby, then heads west through Macalister, Warra, Chinchilla, Miles, Drillham, and Dulacca before exiting the region.
