Victor Alexander Carpendale McPhie

Victor McPhie was the son of Alexander McPhie, who founded the highly successful business, McPhie & Co, in 1896.

Following the death of his father in 1940, Victor and his brother Hector took over the business, with Victor spending many years running the Dalby branch of McPhie & Co. and becoming a prominent member of the Dalby community.

Victor McPhie served in WWI as Bombardier in the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade. He returned to Australia in December 1918.
