Robert John Haddock

Robert John Haddock was Chairman of Tara Shire Council from 1982 to 1991.

Prior to his election as Chairman, he had served on the Tara Shire Council as a Councillor.

Bob Haddock served in WWII and was awarded the Military Medal for 'consistent bravery at Finschhafen [Papua New Guinea] October 1943-January 1944. The medal was presented by the Governor of Queensland at Government House, Brisbane, on 14 January 1948.
