Godfrey Morgan

The Hon. Godfrey Morgan MLA was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly, grazier, journalist, and Secretary for Railways from 1929–32.

He was the father of Murilla Shire Council Chairmen Godfrey Morgan Jnr. and Methuen Morgan.

The Glenmorgan Railway Station was named in Godfrey Morgan's honour, and the local street names in the town of Glenmorgan were named after members of his family.
