Tara CWA Rest Room

The Tara Rest Rooms were opened on 16 September 1950. All funds for the rest room were raised by the CWA members, with Mr. Bilton being the chief donor to the rest room building fund. The rest room was built by Mr. Alf Staines.

The Tara CWA Rest Room building still stands on the southwest corner of Day Street and Fry Streets.
