The Dalby Aero Club was formed in October 1931. The first president of the club was Mr. S. W. Robinson, and Alderman Thomas Jack was elected Patron.
The objective of the club was to foster interest in flying throughout the district. It allowed members to access educational lectures from Queensland Aero Club instructors, and to learn more of the technical aspects flight & flying.
The Dalby Aero Club was based at the Dalby Aerodrome.
