Biography

Samuel Joseph Hawkes was the son of John Hawkes & Annie Hawkes (nee Murphy).

He married Laura May Moessinger in 1922, & established the Dalby Carrying Co. in 1926.

Samuel died in 1974, & is buried in the Dalby Monumental Cemetery.
