The second Annual Church of England Easter Ball was held at the Elysium Hall on 21 April 1933. The ball was held under the patronage of the Right Rev. H. H. Dixon, who received the debutantes.
The hall was decorated in green and peach blossoms, with miniature electric lights, and supper was served by the ladies of St. John's Church. Music was supplied by Ryan's dance band.
The debutantes were: Miss Lily Keys, Misses Alma and Olive Stagg, Miss Thelma Geisel, Miss Lucy Margaret Turner, Miss Dorothy Mengle, Miss Mary Higginbotham, Miss Vera Hutchinson, Miss Jill Cosgrove, Miss Nancy Ashmore, & Miss Annie McDermott.
