BiographyMavis Muriel Downes was a daughter of Hugh & Kate Downes of "Rathlea", Bell.
She married John McClelland of "Belmont", Bell, on 23 June 1920. He was the son of John & Christina McClelland & was born 28 October 1887. He died 11 November 1971 and is buried in the Bell Cemetery.
