In 1909, a tender was accepted from Mr. W. Millar for the erection of a provisional school at Rosebank, near Chinchilla. The cost for building the school was £166.
Rosebank State School (No. 1177) opened in 1909 and closed around 1915. There may be a discrepancy around the closing date of this school, as an image exists dated circa 1918.
