Tara Motor Works was owned by Mr. Frank Spork, who left Tara in 1939, and leased the business to Mr. Arthur Henry the same year.
It is unknown where Tara Motor Works was located, however it was housed in a group of buildings that contained Tara Motor Works garage and showroom, a blacksmith's shop, a draper's shop, a cafe and second story residence, and a movie theatre.
